I was asked to design functional website for michelin-trained private chef educator. Website is used mainly to showcase that aesthetic plates don't have to be domain of fine dining restaurants. Website will highlight private chef's mindset and original teambuildings & cooking classes.
When designing the website for the Michelin-trained private chef, I made sure to prioritize simplicity and straightforwardness. The website need to be user-friendly and easy to navigate, allowing visitors to quickly find the information they need and take action.
To achieve this, I created a clean and minimalistic design that emphasized clarity and readability. I made sure to use a consistent color scheme and typography throughout the site, making it easy for users to scan and understand the content. Additionally, I used clear and concise language, avoiding jargon or technical terms that could confuse or alienate visitors.
One of the key features of the website is its straightforwardness in presenting the client's services. I created a clear and easy-to-understand layout that highlighted private chef cooking classes, teambuilding events, and other offerings. The website's navigation was also designed to be simple and intuitive, allowing visitors to quickly find the information they were looking for.
The website's simplicity and straightforwardness not only helped visitors navigate the site more easily, but also allowed Stepan to communicate message more effectively. By removing any unnecessary elements and focusing on the essentials, the website was able to convey identity and mission in a clear and compelling way.
Overall, the straightforwardness and simplicity of the website was a key factor in its success. By prioritizing usability and clarity, I was able to create a design that effectively communicated the message and exceed Stepan's goals to increase reservations by more than 200%.
